Your first visit to GD Orthodontics is exciting! It’s a chance for us to learn more about you, and for you to learn about the treatments and services we offer as well as meet our doctor and staff. To get started, when you first come into our office, you’ll meet our friendly treatment coordinator.
Your First Visit
Your first appointment will usually take about an hour. This is the appointment where you will be able to ask all of your questions and learn about what we can offer. Our treatment coordinator will take some information from you and give you a tour of the office. Next you’ll be given an exam and have some images taken of your mouth and jaw.
The most important part of the first visit is to determine what treatment is necessary to correct any problems that are affecting your teeth and bite — and whether we should begin now, or wait for your mouth to grow.
Following the exam, we will discuss your treatment options and the developmental stage of the teeth and jaws. In many cases, depending upon the age of the patient, we will recommend coming back for periodic visits until the teeth and jaw have matured.
This is the best time to ask questions about orthodontics and your treatment plan. Many patients have the same or similar questions, but we are open to hearing and answering anything you would like to know. Some of the most common questions include:

The Patient Rewards Program has been specifically created to reward our loyal patients with monthly giveaways as a thank you for your continuous support.
How Does the Loyalty Program Work?
At your next visit to Dr. Girish Deshpande’s orthodontic practice, simply pick up one of our Loyalty Cards, fill out the required information and drop it into our ballot box at the front desk. At the end of every calendar month, we will draw one Loyalty Card from the ballot box. Winners will be notified via telephone, mail and/or e-mail.
Be sure to update your contact information with our receptionist if you are participating in our Patient Rewards Program.
Eligible Patient Rewards Program participants must be active patients of Dr. Girish Deshpande to receive monthly giveaways under the program. Eligible individuals must have already had a comprehensive new patient examination, radiographs and initial treatments. All employees past and present, as well as their families, are exempt from this program.
Patients who do not give two (2) business days’ notice to change or cancel an appointment may not be eligible for such incentives/rewards.
By accepting the incentives, winners/offer recipients agree to hold Dr. Girish Deshpande, and its employees harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of incentive/prize/offer. Limit one prize per calendar year, per person.
The Drawing entry period begins at 12:01 A.M. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on the first day of each month and ends at 11:59 P.M. EST on the last day of each month (the “Drawing Period”). Winners will be randomly selected from completed entries placed in the Loyalty Program Ballot Box at the front desk of Dr. Girish Deshpande’s office.
