The
cost of braces depends on many factors such as which types of
braces you choose, the extent of correction that is required to
the teeth and/or the bite and jaw, and the length of time you
will need to wear the braces.
It will not be possible to give an exact cost for the treatment
until we have examined you. We will cover the exact cost and financial
options during the initial examination.
Our staff will be more than happy to help you understand your
insurance benefits. We will provide you with a predetermination
form that will outline the kind of orthodontic treatment you will
need and an estimated time and fee for your treatment.

Generally,
attaching the braces to the teeth do not hurt. No anesthetic is
required during the procedure. During the first few days after
you get your braces and after adjustments, some discomfort can
be expected, especially when chewing. Teeth may also be sore after
certain visits. In these situations, pain medications such as
Tylenol will ease the discomfort. However, after most visits,
patients do not feel any soreness at all.
